Your Stone & Tile Floor Cleaning Questions Answered

Considering professional floor cleaning or restoration? Our FAQs cover pricing, process, drying times, sealing, and ongoing maintenance, so you know exactly what’s involved before booking with Dynamic Floorcare.

Do I need to move furniture before you arrive?

For the best results, we ask that as much furniture as possible is removed before we arrive. If needed, we can work in sections and move lighter items during the job. All remaining furniture and surrounding areas are fully protected.

How long does a stone or tile floor restoration take?

Most jobs take between one and three days, depending on the size, condition, and type of floor. A deep clean and seal can often be completed in one day, while honing and polishing typically take longer. We will always confirm timescales before starting.

When can I walk on my floor after the work is completed?

Floors can usually be walked on once dry. After sealing or polishing, we generally recommend allowing 12–24 hours before normal use. Exact times depend on the type of sealer used and site conditions.

What cleaning products do you use? Are they safe?

We use professional, industry-approved cleaning products designed specifically for stone and tile surfaces. These are safe when used correctly and help protect the floor’s finish. We avoid harsh or acidic products that can damage natural stone.

What types of damage or staining can you fix?

We can treat common issues such as dull or etched areas, ingrained dirt, grout staining, light scratches, cracks, holes and minor surface damage. If a floor is heavily worn or damaged, we will explain what results can realistically be achieved before proceeding.

How often should stone or tile floors be professionally cleaned and sealed?

Most domestic floors benefit from professional cleaning and sealing every 12–24 months. High-traffic areas may require more frequent maintenance. We provide tailored aftercare advice to help extend the life of your floor.

Is floor sealing really necessary?

Sealing helps protect stone and grout from staining, moisture ingress, and everyday wear. It also makes routine cleaning easier and helps maintain the appearance of the floor for longer.

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes. All work is carried out to a high professional standard, and we ask customers to notify us within 48 hours if there are any concerns so we can address them promptly.

How much does professional floor cleaning cost?

Costs vary depending on the floor type, size, condition, and the level of work required. We provide clear, no-obligation quotations and explain all options before any work begins.
